Mini Siam is Thailand’s first miniature park and is the first such project which not only covers wonders of Thailand (Siam is Thailand’s former name) but also that of Europe. This miniature park is located on Sukhumvit Road and is about 144 kilometers from Bangkok. The miniature park is divided into two zones: one is dedicated to the replicas of the wonders located in Siam and the other dedicated to the wonders of Europe. The place contains about hundred models of various heritage sites which have been built following a scale of 1:25.

It is a great place to witness the monuments and historical sites belonging to different cultures and different periods of time from past to the present, all at one place. A Bit of History

The place came into being in 1986 with an area of about 29 Rai that was allotted for the park and as per records ‘Democracy Monument’ of Bangkok was the first place for which the first replica was created.

Siam Zone

The Siam zone of the park includes miniatures of gems like: Wat Phra Kaeo, Wat Phra Srisanpet, Phanom Rung historical park, Wat Arun, Phra Thinang Aisawan Thiphyaart, Ananta Smakhom Throne Hall, Wat Mahathart, Emerald Buddha, Historical Park of Ayutthaya, Wat Phra Srisunpetch, Victory Monument, Rama IX Bridge and many other notable Thailand landmarks and sites, including mini-Bangkok city.

Europe Zone

Eiffel Tower, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Tower Bridge, Trevi Fountain, Coliseum, Statue of Liberty, Sydney Opera House, Temple of Heaven and Angkor Wat etc are the monuments and sites that one can witness at the European zone of the miniature park. A mini race course named GoKarts is also available where people can actually see a real race show in progress.
