Wat Suwan khuha is a cave temple which has various caves of varied sizes where the biggest one acts as the entrance to the cave. It is called Wat Tham by the local people which when translated in English means Cave Temple.

Wat Suwan Khuha’s Noted Caves

The temple is located in a mountain and as stated before has a number of caves with following names: Tham Chaeng, Tham Muet, Tham Kaeo and Tham Yai; out of which the last one is the biggest in size and is at the lowest level. Tham Yai also serves as the chapel and houses a number of Buddha images out of which the 15 meters long golden image of reclining Buddha is the most distinguished, and the place is also decorated by number of religious items.
