Founded by Luang Phu Choi, Wat Khao Suwan Pradit is one of the most revered Buddhist temples in Thailand. This temple is situated on a 45 meter high hilltop and offers panoramic views of the surroundings and the coast. Wat Khao Suwan Pradit was home of Luang Phu Choi who was one of the most famous monks in Thailand. He is also known as Phra Kru Suwan and the temple was named after him. His remains are still kept in a glass coffin which is placed at the foot of the hill. The chedi of Wat Khao Suwan Pradit houses the sacred relics of Lord Buddha which were brought here from Wat Phra Kiat, Chiang Mai.
