Sa Nang Manora Forest Park is located in Mueang Phang-nga District of Phang-nga province, inside the area of Koh Thoi Nang Hong National Forest Reserve. It lies approximately 10 km from Phang Nga Town. So if you rent a car, you can easily reach the park via Route 4 in about 20 minutes. Spanning a total area of about 72 acres, the park has a topography of Limestone Mountains stretching from the north-east to the south. Sa Nang Manora Forest Park features a lush green rainforest with streams rushing down through the valley. Here, you’ll get to see many small waterfalls because of the different altitudes of the park’s landscape. Also to be seen are the many beautiful plant species such as ironwood, Magnolia elegans and Malacca teak. A variety of fauna can also be found here including Sumatran serow, soft-shelled turtle and tiger fish. With plenty of picturesque scenes and ample opportunities for adventure, Sa Nang Manora Forest Park makes for a wonderful getaway.

The Many Attractions of Sa Nang Manora Forest Park
Sa Nang Manora Forest Park boasts several attractions within its premises. There is the Namtok Sa Nang Manora featuring a small waterfall and a medium-sized pond with water all through the year. Just about a kilometer away from the park’s headquarters, you’ll see a cave ‘ Tham Plueak Hoi’ housing a shell cemetery. A sloping trail makes walking around in the cave a little easier. A little further away from the headquarters lies Tham Khi Khang Koh – a habitat for bats. The trail here is not that steep, but nevertheless suitable for walking. Situated at a distance of 1.5 km from Tham Khi Khang Koh and 3 km from the headquarters, you’ll find Tham Kaeo housing beautiful stalagmites and stalactites. A guide will be available to give you a tour of the area. In addition, Sa Nang Manora Forest Park also offers a spectacular nature trail that stretches for about 2 km with interpretation boards of its amazing range of flora and fauna along the way.
