Main Highlights of Pranburi Forest Park
Pranburi Forest Park features two stunning natural trails in the form of raised wooden boardwalks that crisscross through the dense mangrove forest. The scenic beach route hugging the coastline offers breathtaking views of the pine forest and the seashore. The mangrove nature trail will take you inland where you can admire a wealth of flora. You’re advised to keep your eyes wide open for the animals living here as you stand a great chance of witnessing a squirrel, porcupine, kingfisher and even chipmunks. The Pranburi River runs through the forest and a quaint fishing village at Pak Nam Pran (the Pranburi Estuary) before winding up into the ocean. If you intend to take a tour of the river, you could hire a long-tail boat which will give you a 40-minute tour on the water.
