Also known by the name of Rai Mae Fah Luang, the park comprises of the most significant architectural structures of Chiang Rai Province. Located about 5 km to the west of the city center, this popular tourist attraction is nestled in a beautifully landscaped lake garden and is most easily accessible through a car rental. Interesting Artifacts to See at the Park

Browsing through the fascinating collections of religious and secular artifacts at Mae Fah Luang Art & Cultural Park, you can learn about the 400-year old history of the kingdom. Ho Kham is a teak-made pavilion where you’ll get to see exhibitions of the ancient candle holders carved from wood along with other teakwood artifacts. Also housed inside is the ancient wooden sculpture of the Buddha dating back to the Lanna period. The park area consists of a rare species of fragrant plants as well as a bronze statue of the Princess Mother of Thailand. An open museum is also found at the Mae Fah Luang Art & Cultural Park that features temporary exhibits of artworks.
