All about Ko Kho Khao Beaches & Inhabitants
The beaches are great and provide enough opportunities for various water sports and swimming plus numerous mesmerizing views for those who are counting on strolls. 16 kilometers in length, the beach is flat which turns into mangroves and canal as one moves to the east. The several thousand inhabitants of the island are all Buddhist and live in about five villages out of which the village named Baan Pak Koh is the most popular village. The inhabitants of the region earn their livelihood by selling fruits, rubber and oil. In addition to tourism, there are many resorts on the island and most of them are located on the beach known as Pak Koh.
One of the most mesmerizing places on the island is the paved two-lane roads that run from Pak Koh to the northern portion of the beach. The place is a friendly place to visit packed with the infrastructure that a tourist expects: restaurants, WIFI, taxis, rentals even motor bike rentals are available with mobile network available almost everywhere.
