At Khao Sok National Park, visitors get the opportunity to enjoy a diverse flora along with a diverse wildlife. It is a home to different types of birds, mammals, reptiles and insects. The biological richness and beautiful natural surroundings of the park makes it an ideal place for trekking. During trekking visitors can see various types of birds and snakes. You can also enjoy the beauty of the forest while sailing through the waters of Sok River in a kayak or a bamboo raft. The most spectacular area of the park is the lakeside of Cheow Larn which offers a beautiful landscape. Public transportation options to reach Khao Sok National Park are available, but a car rental from Surat Thani is the most comfortable option. It is affordable and gives complete freedom to explore the whole region. Accommodation options are also available inside the park.
