The Elephant Tusks Waterfall

Entry inside the Ton Nga Chang Wildlife Sanctuary costs around 100 Baht for children and 200 Baht for adults. Foreigners, however, are charged a considerably higher fee than the locals. Once you get past the entrance, you’ll find that the Ton Nga Chang Waterfall is made up of seven levels. The first level named Ton Ba is a great spot for enjoying picnic and swimming. The second level is Ton Plew with incredible scenes of nature. But it’s the third one which is the most spectacular of all. Known as the ‘Elephant Tusks Waterfall’, this level is where the stream separates into two, resembling the tusks of an elephant. If time permits, you must try visiting the rest of the levels as well. Inside the park, you can also enjoy birdwatching and exploring the several hiking trails. If you happen to be adventurous, you can even try your hand at trekking. With plenty to see and do, Ton Nga Chang Waterfall is well worth every Baht spent.
